Position description
We are seeking enthusiastic Pathology Collectors to join our vibrant Patient Services Team. You will be an essential team member, and your responsibilities will include the following:
* Collecting blood and non-blood samples from patients including conducting basic tests such as ECG and Holter Monitoring
* Following strict guidelines and procedures to ensure all samples are accurately labelled
* Guiding patients or caregivers on sampling procedures
* Preparing specimens for transportation to the laboratory

Prior to commencement, all candidates must provide documentary evidence of the following:
* Unrestricted working rights in Australia
* Commitment to annual influenza vaccination and serological confirmation of protection /commencement of other required vaccinations.
A National Police Check, Working with Children Check clearance and First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011) will be required prior to commencement.
Please note, our training program requires a non-negotiable minimum 20 hour per week commitment.
