About the Role
Join our highly skilled team as an Advice Technology Team Leader, where you will play a vital role in supporting our exceptional financial planning solutions delivered through our customised version of Xplan.
Your responsibilities will include leading and managing the Advice Technology Administrators and the support queue, proactively engaging with practices, providing comprehensive support, and delivering training to ensure outstanding experiences for advisers.
This position presents an excellent opportunity for paraplanners, client services managers, technology support analysts, and consultants seeking further growth in the dynamic fintech environment.
Responsibilities & Duties
Provide best practice advice technology guidance, support, onboarding, and training to clients:
Manage support queue via phone and email.
Support implementation and technology adoption.
Deliver webinars and create instructional materials.
Act as the primary point of escalation for complex issues.
Provide guidance and support to resolve escalated problems.
Contribute to customised site development, administration, and projects:
Manage Wizard bugs and code fixes and assist in testing.
Team Management:
Lead and manage the Advice Technology Administrators.
Cross-Skilling and Training:
Identify skill gaps and organise cross-skilling initiatives.
Assist in supporting and upskilling team members.
Training and Workshops:
Plan and conduct training sessions and workshops for the network.
Develop training materials and resources.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements.
Skills & Experience
Degree in IT, Finance, Business, Commerce or a related discipline. Tertiary education and qualifications looked upon favourably.
Proven experience working with Xplan or other wealth management software in development, support and / or business process role.
Experience working in the wealth and financial services industry.
Excellent Xplan and CommPay system development and business process knowledge and experience.
Strong understanding of the financial advice industry and the needs and expectations of advice practices.
Understanding of Excel mechanics and Salesforce or other CRM.
Excellent customer services skills combined with initiative and enthusiasm to provide resolutions.
Experience working on competing priorities and the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the organisation.
Develop productive relationships with industry providers and other users.
