Opportunity
Reporting to the Solution Delivery Manager, the BMS Project Engineer is responsible for design, engineering, commissioning and delivery of customer projects within our Building Management Systems. You will ensure projects are completed on time with maximum profitability.
- Provide and deliver project engineering, commissioning and documentation to Schneider Electric standards.
- Offer high‐level technical support to the project team and associated technical teams.
- Plan, schedule and budget all project activities.
- Ensure cost‐effective and efficient system design.
- Administer contracts, forecasting costs and billings, purchasing and resource allocation.
- Adhere to Schneider Electric's Customer Project Process (CPP), management system requirements and Australian Standards.
- Collaborate closely with customers, end users and other stakeholders to exceed expectations, including EEP standards.

- Tertiary qualifications in Electrical or Mechanical engineering (preferred).
- Electrical licence (preferred but not essential).
- Electrical fault‐finding experience.
- Strong HVAC knowledge.
- Track record in successful project delivery and driving effective, efficient engineering solutions (Essential).
- Experience in commissioning Building Management Systems (Essential). Work with HVAC commissioning contractors to tune works to design intent.
- Experience designing and implementing network architecture, including active hardware and systems.
- Solid knowledge of HVAC, plant/control systems, power and control systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of Access, Security and CCTV industry; computer/BMS programming experience highly desirable but not essential.
It is essential that the successful candidate is eligible to apply for a security clearance.
