Bakers Delight North Buderim is seeking a qualified and motivated Baker to join our bakery team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of bread and bakery products while maintaining high quality and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing and baking bread, rolls and specialty bakery products in accordance with Bakers Delight recipes and standards
* Measuring, mixing, kneading, shaping and proofing dough products
* Monitoring fermentation and baking processes to ensure product consistency
* Operating and maintaining ovens and bakery equipment safely and efficiently
* Finishing and presenting bakery products to required standards
* Maintaining cleanliness, food safety and workplace health and safety practices
* Monitoring stock levels and assisting with ingredient ordering
* Supporting and assisting junior bakery staff as required
Requirements
* Certificate III in Baking or equivalent qualification, or relevant industry experience
* Previous experience in a commercial bakery environment preferredAbility to work early mornings, weekends and public holidays
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment
* Good time-management and organisational skills
* Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and WHS practices
* Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
