About the role
FOAMLAND is seeking an experienced Upholsterer to join our team in Launceston, Tasmania. This is a full-time position that will see you play a vital role in the manufacturing and assembly of high-quality upholstery products for our growing business.
What you'll be doing
* Sewing upholstery materials such as fabric, foam, and leather to create a variety of products
* Operating industrial sewing machines to assemble and finish upholstered items
* Following production plans and patterns to ensure consistent quality and accuracy
* Maintaining a clean and organised work environment to support efficient production
* Contributing to a collaborative team environment and supporting colleagues as needed
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in upholstery or a related field
* Strong practical skills and the ability to read and interpret patterns
* Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
* Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity
* The ability to work efficiently and meet production targets
* A flexible and adaptable approach to supporting a busy manufacturing environment
* We will consider a full time or part time appointment
