CatholicCare NT is a not-for-profit organisation, providing social services and programs to individuals, couples, families, children, groups, schools and agencies across the Northern Territory.
CCNT has a dedicated portfolio for Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) encompassing primary prevention, victim-survivor support (including crisis and respite), and programs for those using violence in their relationships.
CCNT’s men’s DFV programs include a Men’s Behaviour Change Program (MBCP) and Court Support for men who use violence in their relationships. The primary purpose of these programs is the safety of women and children

What’s the role?
9. Provide leadership and delivery to the MBCP and Men’s Court Support Programs.
10. Lead and supervising program staff
11. Provide knowledge and support that ensures quality practice development and continuous improvement with associated women’s support services and other CCNT services to mitigate risk
12. Be responsible for line supervision of MBCP staff and the Darwin Court Support Case Manager
13. Provide support to the Katherine Court Support Case Worker

Is this the right role for you?
14. Relevant qualifications with substantial experience within Social Work, Counselling, Public Health, Community Development or a related discipline.
15. Significant experience in relevant practice and team leadership, including facilitating men’s behaviour change groups.
16. An understanding of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy/Theory (ACT) and/or willingness to work within an ACT framework
17. Demonstrated knowledge of DFV response frameworks, risk assessment and safety,
18. Strong interpersonal and communication skills encompassing report writing, case note writing and supervision and the ability to communicate effectively with managers, staff and stakeholders across a range of diverse cultural groups and settings.
19. Experience in recording and interpreting quantitative and qualitative data in line with program requirements and leading a team to do the same.
20. Demonstrated cultural competency, particularly in working with Indigenous people
