The Mackay HHS (MHHS) provides extensive health services in a range of regional, community and rural settings, from Sarina in the south, Clermont in the west, and Bowen and the Whitsunday Islands in the northeast in North Queensland.

* Provide high-quality clinical services for the Child & Adolescent Health Service at the Mackay Base Hospital and Mackay Community Health.
* Educate paediatric trainees rotating from Children's Hospital Queensland and medical staff comprising PHOs/SMOs/Interns, allied health staff, nursing staff and medical students.
