Responsibilities
Provide leadership to a team of skilled lawyers.
Deliver energy regulation and policy in Queensland.
Work in a collaborative, supportive environment.
Support the management of Legal Services, including budget, resources and work allocation.
Communicate effectively with various internal and external stakeholders.
Manage Legal Services' lawyers and legal products, ensuring quality and consistency.
Provide strategic direction on Queensland Treasury projects, delivering practical solutions.
Qualifications
Significant legal experience in energy and commercial matters.
Proven ability to communicate complex legal advice effectively.
Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to deliver strategic solutions.
Successful team leadership in a large organisation.
Commitment to creating a positive work environment and mentoring legal staff.

Additional Information
The successful candidate must possess the capacity to obtain a practising certificate as a legal practitioner in Queensland at the time of appointment.
The advertised salary includes a 10% attraction and retention incentive.
This incentive is reviewed on a yearly basis.
