The Opportunity As Eyetek's Marketing Manager, reporting to the Managing Director you will take full accountability for the marketing function—planning, executing, improving, and reporting on marketing activity. This is not a “wait to be told” role. We’re looking for a confident marketing professional who can own the department, recommend what needs to change, and deliver outcomes without being micromanaged. What You’ll Love About This Role ✅ Autonomy and ownership – you’ll run marketing like it’s your own department ✅ High impact – your work will directly support growth and product success ✅ Premium industry – work in the eye care / medical technology space ✅ Supportive environment – trusted to do your job without micromanagement ✅ Modern office – Morningside location with on-site parking What You’ll Be Doing You’ll manage a broad and exciting portfolio, including: Owning and delivering the marketing strategy and annual marketing planner Managing Zoho CRM and marketing automation (including social scheduling) Maintaining and updating two WordPress websites (including NZ version) Managing SEO and driving digital performance improvements Creating and scheduling social media content across LinkedIn (primary), Instagram and Facebook Managing advertising in industry publications and coordinating external relationships Supporting and delivering new product launches and marketing campaigns Coordinating marketing for industry conferences/exhibitions (approx. 4 per year) Creating and updating marketing collateral (brochures, catalogues, banners, templates) Producing content using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere) Video editing and content production Tracking and reporting on marketing activity and performance (ROI, engagement, outcomes) What We’re Looking For You’ll be a proactive, capable Marketing Manager who enjoys working independently and taking responsibility for results. You will bring: Proven experience owning marketing end-to-end in a standalone or highly autonomous role Strong digital marketing capability (website, SEO, campaigns, content) Confidence working with CRM platforms (Zoho highly regarded) High-level skills in Adobe Creative Suite video editing Strong communication skills and professionalism with external stakeholders A solutions-focused mindset (you come with recommendations, not excuses) Strong organisation, planning, and the ability to prioritise effectively Confidence using AI tools and marketing technology to work smarter Experience in healthcare, medical devices, eye care, pharmacy or B2B technical industries will be highly regarded —but isn’t essential if you have the capability and mindset to learn quickly.
