What You'll Be Doing
- Providing legal advice, casework, and representation in areas such as family law, tenancy, traffic matters, and family violence.
- Acting as Duty Lawyer in Broken Hill and surrounding circuits.
- Outreach work - travel (with full team support) to towns like Wilcannia, Menindee, Ivanhoe, and White Cliffs, building relationships where access to justice matters most.
- Contributing to community legal education, advocacy, and law reform initiatives.
- Collaborating closely with social services, health workers, and community partners to create holistic outcomes.
About You
- Eligible for (or currently hold) a NSW Practising Certificate.
- Around 1-2+ years post-admission experience (Generalist experience ideal).
- Confident in court - especially in family law, DV, and advocacy work.
- Resilient, independent, and motivated by purpose-driven work.
- Comfortable managing your own caseload in a fast-paced environment.
- Hold a driver's licence and willing to travel for outreach.
