What You'll Be Doing
* Providing legal advice, casework, and representation in areas such as family law, tenancy, traffic matters, and family violence.
* Acting as Duty Lawyer in Broken Hill and surrounding circuits.
* Outreach work – travel (with full team support) to towns like Wilcannia, Menindee, Ivanhoe, and White Cliffs, building relationships where access to justice matters most.
* Contributing to community legal education, advocacy, and law reform initiatives.
* Collaborating closely with social services, health workers, and community partners to create holistic outcomes.
About You
* Eligible for (or currently hold) a NSW Practising Certificate .
* Around 1‑2+ years post‑admission experience (Generalist experience ideal).
* Confident in court – especially in family law, DV, and advocacy work.
* Resilient, independent, and motivated by purpose‑driven work.
* Comfortable managing your own caseload in a fast‑paced environment.
* Hold a driver's licence and willing to travel for outreach.
