About the Role:
We’re seeking a Traveling Operations Specialist to support our senior living communities across Mid-Michigan. This role provides hands-on operational support, fills in for leadership vacancies, ensures compliance with regulations, and drives performance improvement. You’ll also assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training while supporting residents, families, and community staff.
Requirements:
Candidate must currently reside in Mid-Michigan to be considered.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) preferred
* Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality management.
* Strong understanding of regulatory standards in assisted living and memory care.
* Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
* Willingness and ability to travel up to 90% of the time; flexibility to work in diverse settings and manage shifting priorities.
* Proven experience in performance management, budgeting, and team development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide hands-on support to community leadership to ensure consistent, high-quality operations in all departments.
* Serve as interim coverage for key leadership roles during vacancies or extended absences.
* Collaborate with community leaders to implement systems and workflows that enhance operational efficiency and resident satisfaction.
* Assist with recruiting efforts, onboarding, and training.
* Monitor communities to ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
* Partner with community leadership to develop and implement action plans based on review findings.
* Support the Regional Director of Operations with budget preparation, cost control, and financial performance analysis.
* Assist communities in maintaining high levels of resident and family satisfaction.
General Working Conditions
This position entails standing for long periods of time and occasional travel to different locations.
