We are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic, Baker - To report to Head Baker & Managing Director/Franchisee.
You will receive ongoing training& development, mentoring & coaching and the opportunity to work as part of a team in a fun and supportive multi - cultural environment.
**At Bakers Delight** our Bakers are responsible for:.
- Preparation of dough for baking - using a commercial dough mixer, moulder, divider a retarder proofer/proofer, and both rack and deck ovens.
- Assist the Production Team in the production of the bread - eg making rolls - knot rolls, hamburger rolls, shell rolls, sweet and savoury rolls and scrolls, logs, block loaves, twists and plaits, viennas and cobs.
- Merchandising baking products
- Monitoring ingredients for quality and quantity - ensuring correct procedures are followed for the receival and storage of ingredients and baking supplies. Use by dates are noted and adhered to.
- Supervise and assist with the training of apprentices and trainees as per Bakers Delight Standards.
- Attending and Competing in NSW bread shows organised by the Baking Industry Association and Bakers Delight.
- Planning of daily production regards to quality and quantity in conjunction with the Production& Retail Manager and other team members.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the bakery to Food Authority and Bakers Delight Standards.
- Providing delightful and informative customer service when required.

- Must have English literacy and numeracy skills and be able to communicate effectively with Bakers and other staff members.
- Be prepared to work hard and get your hands dirty
- Have a reliable form of transportation
- Qualification required
- Formal training in bread making and or 4+ years' tested experience in baking bread.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $71,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Rotating roster
- Shift work
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Lane Cove, NSW 2066: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
**Education**:
- Certificate I - IV (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Bread Breaking: 4 years (preferred)
**Language**:
- Well in English (preferred)
