The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Divisional Procurement Advisor and Category Manager to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Be accountable for the delivery of end-to-end procurement for the health service, including category management, sourcing and contract management
- Provide expert procurement and commercial advice to executive and senior management, undertaking negotiation and issue resolution
- Develop best practice, strategic procurement plans for assigned divisions that aligns to operational budgets, procurement strategies and Queensland Government Procurement Policy
- Influence executive management regarding value creation through procurement, collaborating and sharing purpose engagement with stakeholders
About you
**To be successful in this position you will require**:
- While not mandatory, the following would be well regarded
- Relevant end-to-end procurement experience including significant category planning, sourcing and contract management experience
- A combination of relevant commercial and government procurement experience
- Relevant academic qualification and/or membership of a professional procurement body
- Evidence of vaccination and remain vaccinated against - COVID 19
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be completed

Salary
- Permanent full time
- Base salary ranging from $122 108 - $131 044 per annum

Based in Southport.
