About the Role:
We are continually looking for enthusiastic and talented people to join our team.
We are currently expanding our team based in Brisbane, QLD and are seeking a Water Resources Engineer/ Scientist on a permanent full-time basis.
Key responsibilities and activities include:
* Catchment and water balance modelling.
* Hydrologic and hydraulic modelling.
* Water monitoring data interpretation and analysis.
* Development of environmental/water monitoring and management plans.
* Environmental reporting and assessments.
* Environmental auditing.
* Interpretation and application of guidelines, legislation, and policy relating to water management (e.g. ANZG, Development Consent).
* Preparation of scientific and technical reports.
* Project management and client liaison.
* Mentoring of graduate/junior staff.
* Some travel and site work may be required intermittently.
Knowledge, Experience and Skill requirements include:
* Possess a relevant qualification in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or similar.
* Have 3+ years’ experience in a similar position, providing advice to the mining, construction, energy, industrial processing, or public sectors.
* Be a highly motivated self-starter who is able to prioritise tasks, work autonomously and contribute to a positive team culture both in the local office and for ATC Williams more broadly.
* Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Have prior experience in environmental data analysis and hydrological / hydraulic modelling .
* Experience in mine water management would be highly regarded, but is not essential.
