About the Business
Wade's Geelong Motorcycles is a brand-new, family-owned dealership opening this March. Our Geelong store will be our second location after Colac Motorcycles which has been in operation since 1979.
We aren't just opening a new store; we're building a hub for the Geelong riding community. With 3 of the biggest brands under one roof, we are committed to top-tier service, technical excellence, and a workplace where people actually enjoy coming to work.
The Role
We are looking for a sharp, organised, and outgoing Business Administrator to join our opening team.
In this role you'll be at the center of our dealership, ensuring our financial systems run smoothly, while acting as the vital link between our Sales, Service, and Business departments.
Key Responsibilities
* Financial Administration: Receipting payments into accounting software, settling supplier invoices, and assisting with payroll and staff leave.
* Sales & Finance Support: Processing new motorcycle finance applications and managing VicRoads registration and plate paperwork to get customers on the road.
* Workshop & Service Support: Assisting the Service Department with bookings and managing the flow of customer drop-offs and pick-ups.
* Digital Presence: Occasional maintenance of stock and available products on the dealership website to keep our \"digital showroom\" current.
* Customer Experience: Being the first point of contact via phone and providing a warm welcome to customers on the showroom floor during peak times.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Accounting Smarts: Previous experience with QuickBooks is highly regarded.
* Exceptional Organisation: The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, \"launch-phase\" business.
* The Approach: You're outgoing, professional, and genuinely excited to be part of Geelong's newest motorcycle destination.
* Marketing Flare: Experience with Social Media/Marketing support (posting new arrivals or \"Happy Handover\" photos) is a major plus.
* Finance & Sales Experience: Highly advantageous if you have a background in processing finance applications or working in sales-driven environments.
* Work Authorisation: Australian work authorisation is required at time of application.
