This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team as a Catering Support Associate. You will play a key role in providing exceptional meal services to our residents.
You will be responsible for supporting the Chef/Cook in delivering high-quality catering services, preparing daily meals and beverages that meet individual needs, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Main Responsibilities:
* Assist in the preparation of healthy and nutritious meals according to individual resident needs.
* Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and safety in the kitchen and dining areas.
* Support the Chef/Cook in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
* Ensure compliance with national food safety regulations and guidelines.
* Serve meals in a well-presented manner and at the appropriate temperature.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A current Food Handlers Certificate is essential.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required to work effectively with colleagues and residents.
* High standards in food preparation and presentation are expected.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and guidelines is mandatory.
* Covid-19 vaccinations, including booster shots, are required unless exempt.
