Safety Officer - HSE

The client is a very well established construction company specializing in commercial and large residential construction.
Safety Officer duties
* Deliver on safety management plans and safety objectives
* Assist in accident/incident investigations and assist in the identification corrective actions
* Conduct regular inspections and audits
* Enforce safety regulations and ensure best safe work practice where required
* Regularly review the site specific safety documents for required amendments
* Provide effective advice and guidance to all company personnel on effective health, safety and training practices
* Analysis of trends in relation to workplace safety performance
Preferred Safety Officer Requirements
* Minimum Diploma in OHS and/or Cert IV TAE
* An excellent understanding of setting up safety systems
* At least 2 years construction safety experience
* Demonstrated knowledge and application of relevant OH&S legislation and Standards
