**The Company**
This role is with a global hearing company with approximately 14,000 staff worldwide. They operate in three main areas:
1. Audiological Care - this is the main part of their business and encompasses the retail and clinical aspects of hearing diagnostics and treatment.
2. Wholesale manufacturing - Globally, they act as a third-party manufacturer for a range of hearing aids that are sold to other hearing businesses
3. Implants - Specialist implantable hearing devices
In Australia, this role sits within one part of their audiological care division to oversee the operations and commercial performance of the 25 clinics, mostly located on the eastern seaboard.
**The Role**
The position will report to the Brisbane based MD for this division, although this is largely considered a field based role so regular travel to clinics will be required.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Delivery of customer service, clinical service, staff satisfaction and financial performance targets
- Oversee roll-out of any business improvement plans
- Regulatory Compliance
- Quality Assurance, and
- Fostering a performance oriented team culture
**Your Background**
To be considered for this role you will need to have a demonstrated track record of success in operational roles, preferably with a healthcare flavour. This could be from medical, dental, aged care, veterinary or allied health fields, however other experience with professional service organisations will also be considered.
Specifically, you will need:
- Well developed organisational skills
- Excpetional people leadership skills, especially in environments of high change
- Proven ability to manage teams in a fast-paced, competitive market
- Astute business nous, being able to identify opportunities to grow revenue and patient numbers
- Clear and compelling communication skills
- Relevant business qualifications also desirable
