Port Augusta Isuzu are seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our growing workshop team. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in high‐quality workmanship and enjoys working in a fast‐paced environment, carrying out diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance across a range of heavy vehicles to ensure peak performance and reliability.
About the role
* Analysing and diagnosing mechanical problems
* Repairing and servicing trucks, buses and other heavy machinery in line with Job Cards
* The planning of jobs and ordering the required parts
* Completion of all paperwork regarding work performed
* Mentoring apprentices and assisting with their development
* Maintaining a commitment to safety in the workplace
About you
* Trade qualification in heavy diesel/motor mechanics (dual trade advantageous)
* Extensive industry experience
* Proven ability in technical diagnosis and repair a range of machinery and heavy vehicles
* Ability to identify specific parts or components
