Automotive Service Advisor/Customer Experience Consultant.

Ourclient is a multi-franchise New Vehicle Dealership with dedicated a Service Centre providing all levels of servicing to their loyal customers.

Theirmulti-award winning Service Department experiencing solid growth with numerous improvements to their service process. We are now needing to add anExperienced Service Advisor to join this great service team.

If you enjoy dealing with the public and are wanting a career within a stable company in growth mode, then joining our client as a Service Advisor is perfect for a person passionate about the automotive industry.

Ideally, you will have at least 12 months experience as a top performing Service Advisor with references to support your experience. Or you may already have extensive professional knowledge of the workings of the modern car and are wanting to 'come off the tools' and advance your career in after sales within a dealership.

About the role.

As a professional Service Advisor you are a key member of the service team, your role is to make the service processes for our loyal clients as simple and quick as possible from the first contact to delivering the serviced vehicle back to the customer.

To excel in this role, you need a combination of good administrative skills, attention to detail, have great time management skills, have a good mechanical understanding and have the confidence to communicate with a wide range of people.

Specifically, the job involves

* Booking clients in for service and or repairs.
* Communicating with the technicians to establish the extent of work required and confirming availability of parts.
* Prepare pricing estimates of service and repair orders to share with customers.
* Communicating with customers to explain the work involved, gain their approval to proceed and provide regular updates on the progress of their vehicles.
* Dealing with Service Warranty Claims
* Working through paperwork to ensure we are complying with Manufacturer Procedures
* Working closely with the Service Manager and the Workshop Foreman to ensure all jobs are completed in a timely manner.
* Working through customer concerns and providing timely responses.
* Closing out repair orders prior to customers picking up their vehicle.
* Completing warranty claim procedures prior to paperwork going through to the warranty administrator.

Our Client has been in business for over 30 years in Ipswich.

Starting the business in 1991, the business has grown to be a leading automotive retail business in Ipswich and the western corridor of Brisbane. Servicing multiple brands with a service department consisting of 18 Techs and apprentices plus ancillary staff.

Hours of work - 7.30am to 5.00pm with additional paid overtime available.

Remuneration package – wages + overtime + 1 Saturday roster per month + weekly and monthly incentives based gross target achievements. With OTE (on target earnings) of $85,000 - $110,000 realistically achievable.

They engage with industry specific companies to provide high level Service Advisor specific training to give our staff all the tools needed to be successful and provide exceptional customer experience.

There is a lot of technology to learn and while basic mechanical knowledge is helpful, our client will guide you to ensure you learn in the most effective way possible, setting a path that will speed your progress without being overwhelming. You also have access to manufacturer's extensive product knowledge. This ensures your understanding of the product and that you become a professional service specialist.
