Xavier College is seeking a passionate Coordinator – Music to join our Gawler Belt (7-12) campus to make a meaningful contribution to the Music faculty. This position is classified as a POR2, commencing as soon as possible and concluding Friday, 7 May 2027.
This role includes a fixed-term teaching component and should be considered in conjunction with the Teacher Position Information Document.
As the Coordinator - Music you will:
* Lead and support teaching staff in the design, implementation and review of high-quality Music curriculum.
* Lead the College's Instrumental Music Program, including private tuition, bands and choral programs.
* Manage private music tuition, including tutor recruitment, timetabling and communication with families.
* Coordinate ensembles, rehearsals and performances to support student engagement.
* Lead the planning and production of the College Musical and organise co-curricular music events, including the Annual Music Showcase.
* Support liturgical music in collaboration with the APRIM.
* Manage Music resources, facilities and budget.
