On behalf of our client, we are recruiting Mining Engineers across multiple levels to support a number of underground hard rock operations in Western Australia. These are 8/6 FIFO roles from the East Coast, offering strong technical exposure across planning, production support and improvement projects.
We're ideally looking for engineers with 5+ years' underground hard rock experience, with opportunities available for both solid mid-level and more senior engineers.
Responsibilities
* Deliver short- to mid-term underground mine planning and scheduling in line with site production targets
* Develop and maintain mine designs and schedules in Deswik (CAD/Sched)
* Support stope design, sequencing and coordination with Underground Operations to ensure plans are practical and executable
* Monitor performance against plan, analyse variances and update designs/schedules as required
* Prepare clear planning packs, forecasts and production reports for key stakeholders
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, productivity and cost control
Why Consider This Role
This is a chance to broaden your experience by gaining exposure to different underground hard rock operations, mining methods and technical challenges, without being locked into one site long-term. The 8/6 roster provides structured time off with no relocation required from the East Coast.
About You
You hold a Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering and have 5+ years' experience in underground hard rock operations. You're confident across planning, scheduling and production support, with strong hands-on capability in Deswik (CAD/Sched). You communicate clearly, work well with operations, and maintain high standards in safety, quality and delivery.
