They are seeking a strategic leader to oversee and drive their commercial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement commercial strategies to foster business growth and profitability.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to diversify revenue streams.
Set and track sales targets, financial goals, and performance metrics.
Build and nurture relationships with clients, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
Lead contract negotiations to ensure favorable commercial outcomes.
Analyze market trends and financial data to refine business strategies.
Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and cost management for commercial operations.
Collaborate with internal teams to align commercial objectives with overall company goals.
Ensure full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all commercial activities.
Manage project forecasting, financial reporting, and cost control processes.
Lead and mentor the commercial team, ensuring effective project delivery and efficiency.
Requirements:
10+ years of experience in the civil construction industry.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop staff.
Background in Quantity Surveying and cost control.
Expertise in contract administration and commercial negotiations.
Proven track record in financial project management, including subcontractor management, claims, variations, and progress reporting.
Experience with JDE systems is highly desirable.
