Our organisation is seeking a dedicated HSE professional to fill a critical role in the delivery of infrastructure services. This 12-month contract position will see you working closely with frontline teams, contractors, and leaders to ensure the highest standards of safety, training, and wellbeing across multiple regional sites in Northern Queensland.
* You will be responsible for advising and coaching teams on WHS practices and risk management, leading safety inductions, refreshers, and competency verification, overseeing injury management and return-to-work plans, conducting field-based assurance, investigations, and contractor onboarding, and supporting HSE reporting and wellbeing initiatives.
In order to succeed in this role, you will require strong experience in HSE roles within infrastructure, construction, or heavy industry, tertiary qualifications in WHS or a related field, certification in Training & Assessment, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of risk management and be able to build trust with colleagues at all levels. They will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt to changing priorities.
