Wheel Repairer Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Welder/Wheel Repairer to join our team at the Pilbara Mining Solutions Centre in Port Hedland. As a Welder/Wheel Repairer, you will be responsible for ensuring the prompt and proactive response to rectifying damage or wear and tear to the wheels/rims of our customers.
Responsibilities:
* Diagnose and troubleshoot wheel damage
* Ensure all equipment used on site meets operational requirements and allows work to be carried out in a safe manner
* Inspect and repair wheels to meet BMSA QMS standards
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Appropriate trade qualifications in welding/heavy fabrication
* Forklift license (LF) or ability to obtain
* Strong commitment to safety and wellbeing of self and others
* Fit and able to carry out manual labor requirements
* Punctual, reliable, and a team player with a can-do attitude
* Current work rights in Australia
