Shadbolt Group is seeking a highly experienced HSEQ Manager to lead, develop, and embed Health, Safety, Environment, Quality, and Security (HSEQ) systems across our multi-site operations. This is a senior leadership role, offering the opportunity to influence organisational culture, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement across projects, workshops, and offices.

As HSEQ Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping a proactive safety culture, supporting operational excellence, and ensuring regulatory and client compliance across all sites.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and implement the HSEQ strategy aligned with organisational objectives and legislative obligations.
* Develop, maintain, and continuously improve HSEQ management systems, policies, procedures, and standards.
* Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements across all jurisdictions.
* Provide expert HSEQ advice to senior leadership, project managers, and site teams.
* Monitor HSEQ performance, analyse trends, and report key metrics to leadership.
* Lead incident investigations, audits, and corrective actions, ensuring lessons learned are embedded.
* Manage internal and external HSEQ audits, certifications, and client compliance requirements.
* Drive contractor and supplier HSEQ prequalification, monitoring, and performance management.
* Facilitate risk assessments, hazard identification, and implementation of effective controls.
* Develop and deliver HSEQ training, inductions, and awareness programs.
* Act as the primary point of contact with regulators, clients, and external stakeholders on HSEQ matters.
About You
We are looking for a strategic and hands-on HSEQ leader with:
* Tertiary qualification in Work Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Quality, or a related discipline.
* 8–10+ years of experience in senior HSEQ/HSE leadership, preferably in engineering, construction, manufacturing, or infrastructure environments.
* Proven ability to lead and influence across multi-site operations.
* Strong knowledge of WHS, environmental, and quality legislation and standards.
* Lead Auditor qualifications (ISO 45001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001) are highly desirable.
* Exceptional communication, report writing, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Strong risk management, investigation, and auditing capability.
