Job Opportunity: Clerk at North West Regional Hospital
The North West Regional Hospital, part of the Tasmanian State Service (TSS), is seeking applications for the role of Clerk. This position provides administrative support within the outpatient department, which delivers a wide range of specialist outpatient services.
The Role:
1. Provide high-quality customer-focused clerical, administrative, and reception services.
2. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all agency policies, procedures, and guidelines.
3. Ensure proper management of information systems according to relevant protocols.

Details of Appointment:
This is a fixed-term, full-time or part-time position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, starting as soon as possible until 30 January 2026. Hours are negotiable with the successful applicant. The selection process may be used to fill similar vacancies over the next twelve months.
Salary and Benefits:
Salary ranges from $66,049 to $70,993 per annum (pro-rata), with an additional 11.5% superannuation contribution. Salary packaging options are available, including benefits for living expenses and meal entertainment. Preferred Qualifications:
* Completion of or willingness to undertake a recognized course in business/office administration and medical terminology.
* Experience in a healthcare setting is desirable.
