Technical warehouse stores person

Total Connections
Posted: 3 February
Offer description

Build a career in hydraulics (not just warehouse work).

Want a hands-on role where you'll learn real technical skills — not just move boxes?

Total Connections is a well-established hydraulic hose and fittings business with branches across the Goldfields, Perth and the Pilbara. We're growing, and we're looking for a proactive Storeperson to join our Bibra Lake team.

This role suits someone who enjoys practical work, wants to learn, and is keen to build specialist knowledge in hydraulic hose, fittings and components. If you're looking for a long-term career path into hydraulics, this is a great place to start.

What you'll be doing

* Pick and pack hydraulic fittings, hose and components accurately
* Receive stock, check deliveries, and resolve discrepancies
* Track backorders and follow up outstanding supplier orders
* Raise and process purchase orders
* Keep stock locations, part numbers and inventory data accurate in our system
* Manage pickups and deliveries with customers and suppliers
* Help support the team by answering day-to-day parts queries
* Learn the technical side: identifying fittings, matching components, and recognising common thread types and connections

What you'll learn on the job

* How to identify common hydraulic fittings and adapters
* Thread types and connections (e.g. BSP, JIC and other common hydraulic standards)
* How hose and fittings work together in real hydraulic systems
* How to support customers with basic parts identification and supply

About you

We're looking for someone who:

* Is keen to learn technical products and become a "go-to" parts person
* Has strong attention to detail (getting fittings right matters)
* Communicates well with suppliers, customers and the workshop team
* Is reliable, punctual and takes ownership of their work
* Is confident using computers (MS Office + internal systems)
* Can manage workload, priorities and deadlines
* Has full Australian working rights

Hydraulics experience is a bonus — but not required. We'll train the right person.

What we offer

* Full-time Monday to Friday + weekly pay
* Immediate start available
* Supportive team environment (you won't be thrown in the deep end)
* Long-term training and career progression in a specialised industry
* A role that can grow into parts interpreting / hydraulic sales support over time
