Who we're looking for?
* Must have Representative Certificate (Cert IV in Real EstatePractice).
* A relevant degree in Property or a related discipline ishighly regarded.
* Experience in commercial property management or propertyadministration is preferred, with a minimum of 12 months' relevant exposure.
* Exposure to retail leasing and the ability to read andinterpret commercial lease terms is highly regarded, with training and supportprovided where needed.
* Strong organisational and time management skills withattention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Competent in Microsoft Office.
The role
Our Asset Management Services (AMS) team is recognised as a leader in delivering high-quality property management services to Australia'smost respected institutional and corporate clients. Based in our Perth Head Office, this Assistant PropertyManager role supports two Property Managers with the day-to-day management of two commercial portfolios, including retail and office assets. This includes operational tasks, compliance, financial administration, and relationshipmanagement to ensure exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with rent collection, arrears management, and accurate record-keeping in AMS systems.
* Prepare and process work orders, purchase orders, and invoices promptly.
* Maintain insurance, security, and compliance registers.
* Support property inspections and coordinate with facilitiesmanagers for maintenance.
* Contribute to client reporting and attend monthly meetings with senior team members.
* Build strong relationships with tenants, clients, and contractors to ensure satisfaction and retention.
