We are seeking a proactive individual to support our Global Banking department in driving front-to-back controls, reviewing and addressing gaps in the control framework in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
* Driving front-to-back controls, including reviewing and addressing gaps in the control framework in close collaboration with Legal, Compliance & Operational Risk Control, Group Internal Audit and the IB COO Global Banking team regionally and globally
* Assisting the ANZ Global Banking business to develop and execute its strategic initiatives
* Managing key Global Banking transaction approval processes
* Ensuring policies are adhered to, reviewed and challenged accordingly in conjunction with the relevant stakeholders
* Helping drive profitability through revenue enablement and identification of cost/efficiency opportunities
As part of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of the business and overseeing and monitoring the delivery of the front-to-back control environment, regulatory and audit affairs, operating efficiencies as well as financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Experience in a similar role is advantageous, otherwise a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a control function such as finance or compliance is preferred but not essential
* You must be detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and numerical skills
* You will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and the confidence to deal with people at all levels of the organization
* You have a flexible work attitude, which is critical in order to adapt to changing priorities while remaining calm under pressure
* You are incredibly organized, with an innate sense of how to prioritize when handling multiple competing priorities simultaneously
