1st Year Bricklaying Apprenticeship

Mapstaff is seeking 1st Year Bricklaying Apprentices for our main client Steuler KCH Australia for their Townsville job sites as well as work on various FIFO job sites.
Looking for someone willing to work well in a team environment, reliable, dedicated and willing to learn specialised acid and refractory bricklaying. Candidates will be required to complete a 3 month probation period after which a full time apprenticeship will be offered to the right candidate.
About Our Client
Steuler KCH Australia is a corrosion protection company specializing in refractory and acid-resistant linings.
Steuler complete works within Australia and internationally, predominantly in the mining sector.
What you'll be doing:
Based in Townsville, you will be required to work in with our team on one of Steuler's contracted job sites. We are looking for candidates that also have the flexibility to do FIFO work to various sites around Australia as required.
What we're looking for:
* Have reliable means of transportation to and from site
* Pass a Drug and Alcohol screening test and Pre-Employment Medical
* Flexible availability
* Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment
* Reliable and trustworthy
* Dedicated and hard working
* White card (or willingness to obtain one quickly)
What's in it for you:
· Hourly start rate of $36 per hour for Townsville based work
