Herston Private Imaging is proud to launch its new radiology facility collocated with Herston Private Hospital, Icon Cancer Care and Herston Specialist Suites.

We are seeking warm, patient centric, Radiology Administration Professionals & Medical Liaison Representatives with an eye for detail to support our team, patients and referring practitioners.

Herston Private Imaging

Herston Private Imaging will open its doors in November 2025. It will proudly offer Siemens 3T MRI and Canon Ultrasound, XR, Cone Beam CT and OPG. It also offers

* A variety of specialty and general radiology
* Permanent fulltime, part time or casual positions
* Onsite parking
* Walking distance to public transport
* Non-corporate doctor owned employment
* An opportunity to join a core team and help build a quality, meaningful service focused on image quality and patient care
* Monday to Friday workdays without current on-call or weekend work

It has partnered and collocated with Icon to provide MRI & CT simulation for Queensland's first private Gamma Knife cancer treatment centre.

Other collocated specialties include Ear, Nose & Throat Surgery, Fertility, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Maxillofacial Surgery, Pain Medicine, Pediatric Dentistry, Orthopedic Surgery and Plastic Surgery.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage, triage and schedule appointments
* Collect & register personal details, maintaining accurate patient records
* Answer phone calls, faxes and emails
* Quote, process billing and patient accounts (Medicare, DVA, Work Cover, Private Health)
* Support clinical and medical staff
* Collaborate with radiologists, imaging staff and referring practitioners to manage patient flow and promote our services

Skills & Experience

* Experience within the radiology field is highly desirable.
* Experience using a Radiology Information System (RIS)
* Experience with Medicare, DVA, Work Cover and Private Health invoicing
* Familiarity with PACS and image transfers
* Strong time management and organisational skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Teams
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to liaise effectively with patients, colleagues and referring practitioners
