Job Title: Lead Surgeon - North West Region
Job Summary:
Seeking a motivated and experienced surgeon to lead the surgical service in the North West region. This role requires strategic leadership, efficient resource utilization, and effective integration of services within the hospital/service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide specialist general surgery medical care to patients attending North West Regional Hospital (NWRH) and Mersey Community Hospital (MCH)
* Work with the Clinical Director – Surgical and Perioperative to provide high-level strategic leadership and direction
* Assist in developing health care at both patient and system levels
* Deliver undergraduate general medical education program
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Must hold specialist registration or be a registered Medical Practitioner on the specialist pathway. Experience in the speciality and current driver's license are desirable.
