About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on Manufacturing Manager to lead our production operations at Lisarow.
Reporting to the Head of Operations, you’ll oversee all manufacturing activities to ensure production runs safely, efficiently, and within budget. You’ll play a key role in improving performance, developing capability, and keeping the plant running smoothly across a 24×5 schedule. Help us keep the ovens warm and the standards high.
Key Responsibilities
Production Delivery
* Lead and coordinate Production Shift Managers, Team Leaders, Supervisors and employees in production and sanitation.
* Take full accountability for product, people, and resources across manufacturing lines.
* Manage daily operations to meet targets and maintain WHS and QA compliance.
* Work closely with Maintenance, Planning, and Logistics to keep production on track.
Continuous Improvement
* Simplify systems and focus on identifying and solving root causes — not just buying new equipment .
* Apply practical problem-solving to find fixes that work.
* Oversee labour planning, rostering, time and attendance, and training to ensure performance and continuity.
* Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
* Partner with production and maintenance to sustainably improve reliability and performance.
Leadership
* Lead by example, creating a safe, positive, and high-performing workplace.
* Build strong working relationships to maintain a positive industrial relations environment.
* Collaborate with the supply chain leadership team to shape and deliver long-term site strategy.
About You

* Proven experience in manufacturing management, ideally within food or FMCG.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
* A practical, hands-on mindset with a knack for solving problems efficiently and cost-effectively.
* Experience managing staffing, scheduling, and performance.
* Confidence with data and reporting to guide decision-making.
* The ability to think clearly under pressure and find workable, lasting solutions.
* A track record of effective delegation and accountability management.
