About The Role
As the Science Technician, you will provide essential technical and administrative support to the science department, ensuring the smooth operation of laboratories and resources.
Key Responsibilities Include
Preparing and maintaining laboratory materials, equipment, and chemical solutions for practical teaching use.
Ensuring the safe handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals and laboratory waste in compliance with departmental guidelines.
Supporting science teaching staff with demonstrations, equipment use, and STEM initiatives to enhance student engagement.
Maintaining accurate records of inventory, stock, and laboratory protocols, and managing the science budget.
Providing care for flora and fauna within the science department, adhering to relevant regulations.
