Your day-to-day responsibilities
At our hotel, ensuring a seamless guest experience depends on the efficient operation of all facilities. We are seeking a dedicated Building Supervisor to support the management team by overseeing daily maintenance and repairs. This proactive (Respective Trade) Supervisor will help drive operational efficiency and is responsible for:
* Rostering & On-Call Scheduling: Managing team rosters, ensuring adequate coverage, and overseeing the on-call schedule.
* Team Coordination: Assigning daily tasks, prioritizing maintenance requests, and ensuring timely completion of work.
* Stock Management: Monitoring stock levels, conducting regular stock takes, and maintaining essential materials.
* Workplace Safety: Promoting a safety-first culture by ensuring compliance with safety regulations and proactive risk management.
What we need from you
* Previous supervisory or leadership experience is preferred.
* Trade Certificate in Carpentry or a related field.
* Queensland safety induction White Card.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Email, and reporting tools such as HUB & Hardcat.
* Knowledge of industrial and domestic plant, equipment, and hand tools.
