The Opportunity Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Technician is responsible for completing equipment repairs and maintenance to a high standard, in line with standard work procedures, to ensure the reliable and safe production of all fixed plant equipment.
This is a permanent full-time position on an 8/6 7/7 roster (day and night shifts), FIFO from Perth, or DIDO from Port Hedland, WA.
Key Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To Complete daily electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities to achieve the maintenance plan as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor. Ensure all electrical work is completed and recorded in line with statutory regulations and requirements. Assist with electrical isolations and permitting when required. Troubleshoot electrical components and control systems to determine causes of failures, including gathering failure evidence for analysis. Perform mechanical checks on electrical equipment (track in/out, interlocking, etc.). Ensure all work orders are completed to a high quality in PRONTO. Ensure parts are allocated appropriately as per work order instructions. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Provide feedback to supervisors on business improvement opportunities and ideas. Proactively identify and report safety hazards, adhering to Life Saving Rules. About You WA 'A' Grade Electrical licence, Cert IV Electrical Instrumentation & High Voltage switching ticket essential. Current WA Driver's licence. Current EWP ticket, CPR, and LV Rescue. Previous fixed processing plant experience essential. High attention to detail, quality, and commitment to continuous improvement. Team player with a strong safety and quality focus. PRONTO experience and MS Office skills highly regarded. Willing to undertake a full site medical, provide a current Police Clearance.
