Maintenance / Handyperson
We have a full-time role for a Maintenance / Handyperson at our beautiful Toowoomba Aged Care Facility.
Your Role
As a Maintenance / Handyperson you will be looking after the facility and grounds for the most important people in our organisation – our clients.
Your tasks will include:
* Assist with general maintenance of the property, general care and securing of all equipment before leaving the facility each day
* Manage garbage disposal by ensuring that refuse bins are always properly loaded, positioned for pick up and cleaned after pick up
* Maintain maintenance schedules outlines in the duties list and ensure all scheduled checks are carried out
* Perform driving duties of Ozcare vehicles as required
* Undertake courier and delivery duties as required
* Liaising with the gardening team

Role Requirements
* Current Police Screening Certificate
* Demonstrated experience in stock management
* Cert 3 or a Trade Qualification in the Building Industry (desirable)
* Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
* Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or Home & Community Care
* Current First Aid & CPR Certificates
* Current Queensland driver's licence
