We are currently seeking an experienced Boilermaker to join a well-established mining services workshop based in Mackay. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking for ongoing work with the potential for temp-to-perm placement.

The Details:
* Hours: Mon-Thurs 6:00am-5:00pm, Fri 6:00am-3:00pm
* Rate: $50 - $56.25/hr + penalties (depending on experience and qualifications)
* Potential for overtime
* Casual ongoing work with potential for permanent employment
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform welding, repairs and fabrications on mining equipment.
* Confidently use a range of welding techniques including MIG, TIG and Stick.
* Work to safety and quality standards at all times.
* Contribute to team goals and production schedules.
What we're looking for:
* Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
* Trade Qualification - Boilermaker
* Strong welding skills/experience
* Confident in various welding techniques
* Ability to pass regular Drug & Alcohol tests
Desirable but not essential:
* Experience on underground equipment preferred
