We're looking for a detail-driven and proactive Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team at MECCA Brands Support Centre in Richmond. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our supplier payments, reconciliations and cash flow processes run smoothly across Australia and New Zealand, while supporting continuous improvement across our finance systems and ways of working.
The Role You Could Play
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager and working as part of a collaborative team, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end payments process and key month-end activities. This includes:
* Managing weekly and monthly domestic and international payment runs
* Overseeing supplier reconciliations, payment queries and vendor master data
* Preparing cash flow forecasts, FX bookings and purchase projections
* Owning key balance sheet reconciliations and month-end journals
* Partnering with cross-functional teams, including supporting UAT and ERP-related activities
What You Will Bring
You'll be a confident and organised finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Ideally, you'll bring:
* 4+ years' experience in an Accounts Payable or similar role
* Strong understanding of multi-currency and international payments
* Experience using large ERPs (SAP or Navision preferred)
* Intermediate to advanced Excel skills with strong attention to detail
* A proactive mindset with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
