Description
Play a key role in shaping how people move around our city, improving safety, connectivity and long-term transport outcomes for Lake Macquarie.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a collaborative team delivering strategic transport solutions.
- Influence key projects that enhance community safety and connectivity.
- Prepare road safety audits, traffic studies, and technical investigations to identify improvement opportunities.
- Prepare and present reports and recommendations to Council committees and stakeholders.
- Manage community consultation relating to transport projects and infrastructure.
- Review Traffic Management Plans for construction works and events.
- Provide technical advice on development proposals and infrastructure asset planning.>
- Support project management and delivery of transport infrastructure within budgets and timeframes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Traffic/Transportation Planning, or equivalent.
- Experience in strategic traffic planning, traffic modelling, and development assessment.
- Skilled in community consultation and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Current NSW Driver's Licence.
