About Your Role
As an Advanced Allied Health Practitioner (Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist), you will deliver high-level clinical and consultancy services within the Geriatric Evaluation and Management Service.
You Will
* Deliver advanced assessment and treatment for complex geriatric patients
* Lead clinical practice development, protocols and service improvements
* Provide expert advice across multidisciplinary teams
* Mentor and support junior clinicians and students
* Drive quality improvement, research and innovation initiatives
* Contribute to data analysis, reporting and service planning
* Promote safe, compassionate and patient-centred care
About You
You are an experienced Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist with advanced clinical expertise in geriatric or rehabilitation care.
You Will Have
* Advanced clinical skills in geriatric evaluation and management
* Proven ability to manage complex cases independently
* Strong leadership, mentoring and supervision experience
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Experience in service development and quality improvement
* Ability to influence multidisciplinary teams and drive change
* Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous learning

About Bayside Health Service, Allied Health Department
The Allied Health Department, based at Redland Hospital delivers services across Redland Hospital, Redlands Satellite Hospital, Pandanus Unit and Redland Residential Care. The Allied Health department is staffed by a multidisciplinary team which includes Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Social Work, Speech Pathology, Podiatry, Nutrition & Dietetics, Psychology, Advanced Allied Health Practitioner, Allied Health Assistants and the Eat Walk Engage Program.
