About the Opportunity
Join our passionate Youth Health Counselling team committed to delivering high-quality care within the South Western Sydney Local Health District. We're looking for a dedicated Psychologist to support people experiencing a broad range of emotional and behavioural challenges.
Your Impact:
* Deliver evidence-based psychological assessments and interventions
* Support clients with a range of emotional and behavioural disorders
* Contribute to service quality through clinical outcome evaluations
* Assist in the development and delivery of education and training programs
* Provide clinical supervision to Psychologists and other team members as needed

Role Responsibilities
To deliver evidence-based psychological assessments and interventions to address the needs of consumers with a wide range of behavioural and emotional disorders. The role also involves evaluating clinical outcomes, assisting in education and training development, and supervising Psychologists and other disciplines within the LHD according to organisational needs.

* Full registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia. Completion of a four-year accredited undergraduate psychology degree (or equivalent overseas).
* Experience in assessment, intervention, and evaluating clinical outcomes with diverse populations.
* Ability to work independently and focus on patient/consumer care.
* Knowledge of quality improvement processes for service development, implementation, and evaluation.
* Effective teamwork skills to achieve service goals and improve outcomes.
* High-level verbal and written communication skills adaptable to different audiences.
* Australian C-Class driver's license (P1 or P2). Applicants from other states must obtain an NSW license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
