We're looking for a reliable and detail-focused Finance & Administration Officer to join our team. In this varied role, you'll manage accounts, process payments, assist with reconciliations, and provide essential admin support. Experience with government-funded program portals, including NDIS and My Aged Care, is highly valued but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process invoices, payments, and claims across multiple systems
* Manage accounts payable and receivable functions
* Perform bank reconciliations and maintain financial records
* Support day-to-day administrative and finance tasks
* Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and clients as needed
* Assist with financial reporting and compliance activities
* Assist with payroll when required
* Respond to internal and external finance-related queries
* Support the team with document preparation and filing
* Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures
Skills & Experience Required
* Experience in a similar finance/admin role
* Experience or willingness to learn government-funded program portals, such as NDIS and My Aged Care, is a plus
* Proficient in using accounting software (e.g., MYOB,) and care management portals (e.g., Carelink or similar)
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Clear communicator and team player with a proactive attitude
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive data
Screening Requirements
* Current Australian driver's licence.
* A valid Working with Children's Check (WWCC - E) or Blue Card.
* A current NDIS Workers Screening Check with Simply Helping added as a notified organisation for the duration of employment.
* A valid National Police Check, or a current valid International Police Check and working visa
* Fully vaccinated role min, 2 doses plus 1 booster
