Based in Darwin, this role reports to the Chief Risk Officer, and supports the delivery of risk, compliance, legal and audit programs. It is integral to boosting the organisation's compliance in line with risk management policies, organisational policies, procedures and applicable regulatory/legislative frameworks.
Working as a member of the Risk Team, the Director of Risk and Compliance will assist in performing second line of defence and to ensure risk and controls are effectively managed.
Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential, and excellent interpersonal, negotiation and facilitation skills are key to being successful in this role.
