Commercial Lawyer
The Role:
Due to continued growth, we have an excellent opportunity for a mid-level experienced Commercial lawyer to join our highly respected Commercial and Private Client team. With a focus on commercial transactions, structuring, trusts, superannuation and succession planning, this role supports multiple authors including private client partners Clinton Jackson, Linda Tapiolas and Scott Hay-Bartlem.
The variety of work you will do includes:
* Preparing and negotiating commercial agreements, including stakeholder agreements, share and asset sale agreements
* Advising on business structuring
* Advising clients on asset protection strategies
* Drafting commercial documents and providing advice for restructuring
* Small to medium business merges and acquisitions, and commercial transactions
Requirements:
* 2+ years PAE with genuine passion and interest in commercial and private client space
* Excellent client service orientation
* Strong general technical skills and commercial acumen
* Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
* A keen eye for detail and the ability to consistently produce accurate, high quality work
* Dedication to the excellence and the delivery of outstanding client service
* Desire to strengthen and build client relationships to continually contribute to the growth and success of the firm
