Job Summary
As an Industrial Relations Advisor, you will lead a small team in delivering timely and accurate HR advisory services across the organisation. Your primary goal is to empower people leaders to build capability, ensuring the City remains compliant with industrial agreements, legislation and policy.
* Develop policies, procedures and practices that align with the City's legal and statutory obligations and employee terms, conditions and benefits.
* Contribute at a strategic level to initiatives and interventions that foster a safe and constructive organisational culture and drive effectiveness.
About This Role
This role requires a strong understanding of labour laws, regulations and industry standards. You must be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders, both internally and externally, to ensure seamless execution of HR projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Advise on employee relations matters, including grievances, disputes and disciplinary actions.
2. Collaborate with HR teams to develop and implement policies, procedures and practices that meet organisational needs.
3. Monitor and analyse data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
4. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including employees, management and external partners.
