Job Title: HSEQ Officer
Kolsen is a business within KOLSEN Group, specialising in multi-discipline industrial services and facilities maintenance across the Energy, Marine, Power and Utilities and Public Infrastructure sectors.

1. Maintain effective communications and rapport with employees, Clients and key business stakeholders.
2. Monitor health, safety, environmental and quality hazards and risks for all personnel.
3. Promote a culture of zero harm across the business.
4. Evaluate and ensure statutory & client obligations and requirements are met.
5. Participate in management team decisions and contribute to strategic planning.
6. Lead the implementation of health, safety, environment and quality processes to ensure awareness among all levels of personnel regarding compliance.
7. Develop, implement and manage documents aligned with Integrated Management System (IMS) requirements and ensure adherence to RAMS IMS standards.
8. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
9. Support audit teams in ensuring targets and deliverables are met according to the Audit Schedule.
10. Interpret and apply Australian Standards, Legislation and Codes of Practice.
11. Support diverse teams in developing and implementing safety policies and procedures across the business.
12. Investigate near misses and incidents, producing investigation outcomes in a timely and professional manner.
13. Liaise with Human Resources and Management in employee return-to-work plans.
14. Review and audit processes to ensure alignment with Client and Corporate goals and targets.
15. Provide coaching and guidance on risk assessments and promote continuous improvement.
16. Maintain accurate training records in a timely manner.
17. Ensure all health, safety, environment and quality reporting systems are maintained and developed accordingly.
Requirements and Qualifications
1. Certificate IV in Workplace Health, Safety and Environment or equivalent qualification.
2. Advantageous qualifications include Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or TapRoot/ICAM training.
3. Minimum 2-5 years' experience in HSE Officer/HSE Advisor or Project/Site Administration roles within Oil & Gas industry or large construction projects in Australia.
4. Experience working with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
5. Ability to prioritise tasks, work independently and maintain confidentiality.
6. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across multidisciplinary projects.
7. OHS Construction Induction White Card/Blue Card and current Drivers Licence.
