About the Role

MAGIQ Software, based in Australia, New Zealand and the US, is a fast-growing Software-as-a-Service company. We specialise in offering a comprehensive Cloud ERP, as well as standalone budgeting and document management solutions tailored for the public sector.

Given that significant demand is building for our solutions, we are in search of a Senior Customer Account Manager who will be based in Western Australia or South Australia and will become our primary advocate for the MAGIQ Cloud Software ERP solution in the Local Government market.

The role primarily focuses on growing new opportunities for the MAGIQ Cloud ERP to drive and build market share in Western Australia and South Australia. You'll also play a key role in representing the company within these two regions.

Our aim is to provide an exceptional customer experience that transforms customers into dedicated advocates, ensuring their long-term loyalty to MAGIQ Software.

This position reports directly to the Group Sales Manager for ANZ.

This role is a remote role, with regular in-person connection to MAGIQ Software teams (and offices) and our Customers.


About You

You are highly skilled at fostering collaboration with individuals at all levels of an organisation.

You have more than 5 years of direct sales expertise, preferably in the public sector space.

You are proficient at nurturing existing accounts while driving growth through new opportunities.

You have a comprehensive understanding of the sales journey, from prospect identification to deal closure, with a particular focus on SaaS software sales.

You have a history of consistently meeting or surpassing sales goals in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

You are proficient in interpreting customer needs and translating them into clear product specifications and solutions.

You have exceptional presentation and communication skills, backed by a thorough understanding of software and cloud technologies.

You are experienced in both managing current clients and uncovering new business prospects.

You're available and willing to travel extensively within regional and rural Australia, especially to Western and South Australia.

Strong networks in Local Government and the Public Sector

Experience selling into or have worked in Local Government and Public Health sectors


Responsibilities

Identify New Opportunities for the MAGIQ Cloud ERP to drive additional revenue and build market share in Western Australia and South Australia.

Manage existing MAGIQ ERP customers (located across Australia), to maintain customer satisfaction, loyalty, and market growth in the regions.

Help customers tailor MAGIQ Software solutions to their needs and connect them with other platforms effectively.

Gain in-depth knowledge to advise customers and spot new possibilities.

Provide continuous support, aiding customers in realising the full value of their software investment and supplying thorough documentation.

Build meaningful relationships with stakeholders to boost product use and business outcomes.

Assist in reaching revenue goals.

Manage product demonstrations and pinpoint ways to increase sales.

Develop detailed customer success strategies and personalised account plans for each client in your region.

Monitor and handle reports on all portfolio opportunities through Salesforce.

Conduct technical workshops, ensuring customers can use MAGIQ's solutions to their full potential.

Address customer requests with timely, high-quality proposals and effective results.

Guide the development of Tender responses in collaboration with the pre-sales team.



In this role you will:

Be the face of the business across allocated customers and at relevant industry events.

Role model MAGIQ's core values and demonstrate leadership consistently with all members of MAGIQ's community.

Collaborate with team members to drive innovation and continuous process and efficiency improvements.

Create and lead virtual teams to deliver presentations as required.

Lead and manage customer escalations within MAGIQ.

Work with development teams to drive product roadmap enhancements.

Work closely with customer User groups to ensure product/support/company direction aligns with customer expectations.

This opportunity is best suited for someone located in Western Australia or South Australia, with travel expected to these areas and to MAGIQ Software office sites. Engaging with customer user groups and attending industry conferences will also be part of your responsibilities.
