We now have a fantastic opportunity for an Account Manager in our computer components business unit.

If you are currently in an Inside Sales role and want to transition into sales/account management, this could be the role for you.

You will have the chance to learn from the ground up as you begin managing existing customer relationships and developing new business opportunities.


Key Responsibilities

With training and guidance, you will be responsible for:

* Developing relationships and growing business with specific identified accounts;
* Expanding the customer base by identifying and developing new accounts;
* Developing and maintaining relationships with key customer contacts including business owners, purchasing managers, and sales/marketing managers;
* Managing customer price lists, including pricing tiers for various channel partners;
* Maintaining awareness of current market pricing;
* Working with customers to help grow their business through promotional or marketing initiatives, pricing strategies, strategic/tactical planning, and joint customer visits;
* Maintaining awareness of the PC components industry, including product trends, competitors, and external influences such as economic factors;
* Managing the customer order process from quotation to delivery, ensuring adherence to authorization levels.


Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

To succeed in this role, you will need:

* High School Certificate or equivalent;
* 3+ years in an inside sales role or as a business development representative within the PC components industry;
* Superior customer service skills;
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;
* Ability to handle and resolve customer issues and escalate when necessary;
* Proven initiative in problem-solving and building customer relationships;
* Understanding of profitability and return on investment concepts;
* Ability to provide customer solutions and ensure customer satisfaction;
* Ability to work effectively within a team;
* Self-motivated and capable of working independently to achieve sales targets;
* Flexibility and adaptability to changing environments and business needs;
* Energetic, enthusiastic, positive, and customer-focused attitude;
* Willingness to accept training and development for personal growth.
